This application loads the typefaces "Playfair Display" and "Inter" from the Google Fonts CDN (fonts.googleapis.com). These fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1. This license permits use, modification, and redistribution of the fonts, provided that the fonts are not sold by themselves. When the application loads, your browser establishes a connection to Google's servers to retrieve font files. • Financial advice: Budget tracking features are organizational aids only. They do not constitute financial planning, accounting, or tax advice. Users should consult qualified financial professionals for financial decisions.

5. Product Availability

The Gilded Registry is a digital product distributed internationally through the Etsy marketplace. It is delivered as a single HTML file that operates entirely within the user's web browser.

The product:

• Requires a modern web browser with JavaScript enabled (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or equivalent)
• Stores all data locally using the browser's localStorage API
• Does not require an internet connection after initial download (except for font loading, which falls back to system fonts)
• Does not transmit, collect, or process user data on any external server
• Does not require account creation or registration

While the product is available for purchase in multiple countries, it may not address jurisdiction-specific requirements for wedding planning (such as local legal requirements for marriage ceremonies, jurisdiction-specific vendor contract norms, or region-specific customs). Users are responsible for ensuring their planning activities comply with local laws and customs.

The product interface is available in eight languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Dutch. Translations are provided for user convenience and may not reflect jurisdiction-specific legal terminology.

6. Accuracy of Information

The publisher makes reasonable efforts to ensure that all features of the application function correctly and that any informational content is accurate at the time of publication. However, no warranty or guarantee is made regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pre-populated content, checklists, or timeline suggestions
• The mathematical precision of budget calculations beyond standard floating-point arithmetic
• The suitability of suggested planning timelines for any particular event or jurisdiction
• The continued compatibility with future browser versions or operating system updates

Budget calculations provided by this tool are organizational aids intended to help users track estimated costs. They are not substitutes for professional accounting, do not account for taxes, service charges, or fees unless manually entered by the user, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial decisions. Users are strongly encouraged to maintain independent financial records and consult with qualified professionals.

The publisher reserves the right to release updated versions of the product to correct errors or improve functionality. Purchasers will be notified of significant updates through Etsy's digital delivery mechanisms where available.

7. Consumer Rights by Region

As an internationally distributed digital product, the following consumer protection frameworks may apply depending on your jurisdiction of residence. Nothing in this legal notice limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

7.1 European Union — Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers purchasing digital content have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason (the "cooling-off period").

However, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive, the right of withdrawal may be lost for contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if:

• The consumer has given prior express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period;
• The consumer has acknowledged that they will lose their right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed; and
• The trader has provided confirmation of the consumer's consent and acknowledgment.

Where the product is delivered as an immediate digital download through Etsy's platform, consumers are informed that by initiating the download, they consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the loss of the right of withdrawal. If you have not downloaded or accessed the file, you may be eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Refund requests should be directed through Etsy's resolution system.

Consumers in the EU retain all rights under the Digital Content Directive (2019/770/EU), including the right to conformity of digital content. If the product does not conform to the contract (e.g., it does not function as described), the consumer has the right to have the digital content brought into conformity free of charge within a reasonable time.

7.2 United Kingdom — Consumer Rights Act 2015

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, and as described. If digital content does not meet these standards, UK consumers have the following rights:

• Right to repair or replacement: The trader must repair or replace the faulty digital content within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.
• Right to a price reduction: If repair or replacement is not possible, or fails to bring the content into conformity, the consumer may be entitled to a price reduction of up to 100%.

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cancellation period for digital content purchases. This right is lost once the consumer consents to immediate download and acknowledges the loss of cancellation rights.

Nothing in this legal notice excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7.3 Australia — Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010)

Under the Australian Consumer Law, consumer guarantees apply to digital products. These guarantees cannot be excluded by contract. Specifically:

• The product must be of acceptable quality;
• The product must be fit for any purpose the consumer made known to the seller;
• The product must match any description made by the seller;
• The consumer has a right to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) if the product fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

For major failures, the consumer may choose a refund or replacement. For minor failures, the seller may choose to provide a free repair within a reasonable time. If the seller fails to provide a remedy, the consumer may seek a remedy from the manufacturer or pursue other legal remedies.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

7.4 United States — FTC Guidelines

This product is sold in compliance with applicable U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines for digital products. In accordance with FTC regulations:

• All product descriptions accurately represent the product's features and functionality;
• No misleading claims are made regarding the product's capabilities;
• The product listing clearly identifies this as a digital download product;
• Pricing is transparently displayed prior to purchase.

U.S. consumers should note that digital product refund policies are governed by the marketplace's (Etsy's) terms of service, as well as applicable state consumer protection statutes. Some states provide additional protections for digital goods. Consumers with unresolved disputes may file complaints with the FTC or their state attorney general's office.

This product does not automatically renew, does not require a subscription, and involves no recurring charges.

7.5 Brazil — Consumer Defence Code (Codigo de Defesa do Consumidor, CDC)

Brazilian consumers are protected by the Consumer Defence Code (Law No. 8,078/1990). Under the CDC:

• Consumers have the right to clear and adequate information about the product in Portuguese;
• For purchases made outside of a commercial establishment (including online purchases), consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 7 days of receipt or purchase (Article 49), with a full refund of any amounts paid;
• Products must be fit for their intended purpose and free from defects that render them inadequate for use;
• The supplier is liable for defects in the product regardless of fault (strict liability under Articles 12-14).

The 7-day withdrawal right (direito de arrependimento) applies to this product as it is purchased through an online marketplace. This right may be exercised without the need to provide justification.

7.6 Indonesia — Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 1999)

Indonesian consumers are protected under Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen). Under this law:

• Consumers have the right to comfort, security, and safety in using goods or services;
• Consumers have the right to accurate, clear, and honest information regarding the condition and guarantee of goods and services;
• Consumers have the right to compensation if goods or services do not conform to the agreement or are not as they should be;

Disputes may be resolved through the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (Badan Penyelesaian Sengketa Konsumen, BPSK) or through the courts.

7.7 Canada — Consumer Protection Legislation

Canadian consumers are protected by both federal and provincial consumer protection legislation. Key protections include:

• Under the Competition Act (federal), product representations must be truthful and not misleading;
• Provincial consumer protection statutes (such as Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002, British Columbia's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, and Quebec's Consumer Protection Act) provide additional protections including cooling-off periods for certain types of contracts;
• Digital products must conform to their description and be of merchantable quality;
• Quebec consumers benefit from additional protections under civil law, including warranty of quality and the prohibition of unfair contract terms.

Canadian consumers with complaints may contact their provincial consumer protection office or the Competition Bureau of Canada.

The publisher is committed to making The Gilded Registry accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.

Efforts have been made to ensure the product:

9. Export Control

The Gilded Registry is a consumer-grade personal planning tool containing no encryption technology, controlled technical data, or other content subject to export control restrictions under:

• The U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR);
• The EU Dual-Use Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2021/821);
• The Wassenaar Arrangement on Export Controls; or
• Any comparable national export control regime.

The product is classified as EAR99 (items not elsewhere specified on the Commerce Control List) and may be freely distributed to all destinations without an export license. No export restrictions apply to the purchase, download, or use of this product in any jurisdiction.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to the purchase or use of this product, the parties agree to the following resolution process:

10.1 Informal Resolution

The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting the publisher at the email address provided in Section 1. The publisher will endeavour to respond to all complaints within 14 business days and to resolve matters amicably within 30 days.

10.2 Marketplace Resolution

As this product is sold through Etsy's marketplace, consumers may also seek resolution through Etsy's case resolution system in accordance with Etsy's policies.

10.3 Mediation

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, the parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings. The parties shall agree on a mutually acceptable mediator, and costs of mediation shall be shared equally unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable consumer protection law.

10.4 Online Dispute Resolution (EU)

For consumers in the European Union, the European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, accessible at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. This platform can be used to resolve contractual disputes arising from online purchases without going to court. The publisher's email address for ODR purposes is provided in Section 1 above.

10.5 Jurisdiction

Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws that may grant consumers the right to bring proceedings in their local courts, any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in which the publisher is domiciled. This choice of jurisdiction does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded to them by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the consumer's habitual residence, in accordance with Article 6(2) of the Rome I Regulation (EC) No 593/2008.
