What is The Gilded Registry?
The Gilded Registry is a comprehensive, offline, single-file HTML wedding planner. It is delivered as a digital download and runs entirely within your web browser. The application includes budget tracking, guest list management, seating arrangement planning, a wedding preparation checklist, event timeline organiser, gift tracker, vendor management tools, visual design customisation, and a built-in user guide.
What languages is it available in?
The Gilded Registry features full user interface translation in eight languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Dutch. Every label, button, and instruction in the application is translated, so you can plan your wedding in the language you are most comfortable with.
Do I need an internet connection to use it?
No. The Gilded Registry operates 100% offline once downloaded. All your data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. There are no external servers, no cloud syncing, and no internet connection required at any point during use.
What browsers does it work on?
The Gilded Registry works on all modern web browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari. For the best experience, we recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest version.
Does it work on mobile phones and tablets?
Yes. The Gilded Registry is fully responsive and adapts to any screen size. You can use it on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Simply open the HTML file in your device's browser.
How do I back up my data?
Navigate to the Settings section within the application and use the Export feature to save a backup of your data as a JSON file. To restore your data on the same or a different device, use the Import feature to load the backup file. We strongly recommend creating regular backups to protect your wedding planning data.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Yes. You can use The Gilded Registry on as many personal devices as you like within your household. To transfer your data between devices, export a backup JSON file from one device and import it on the other. Because the application is offline, data does not sync automatically between devices.
What currencies are supported?
The Gilded Registry supports a wide range of currencies for budget planning, including Australian Dollar (AUD), US Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), and many more. You can select your preferred currency in the Settings section of the application.
Can I export or print my plans?
Yes. The Gilded Registry includes PDF export functionality for your guest lists, seating arrangements, event timeline, and vendor information. You can generate printable documents directly from the application to share with your wedding party, vendors, or venue coordinators.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your data is 100% private and never leaves your device. The Gilded Registry does not connect to any external servers, does not use cloud storage, does not collect analytics, and contains no tracking scripts. Licensing and Legal
What is your refund policy?
The Gilded Registry is a digital product that is delivered instantly upon purchase. Due to the nature of digital goods, we generally do not offer refunds. However, we fully respect applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If the product is defective or non-functional and we are unable to resolve the issue, you may be entitled to a remedy. For complete details, please review our Refund Policy.
Can I share the file with others?
No. Each purchase provides a single-user licence for one household. You may not redistribute, share, resell, or transfer the Product file to individuals outside your household. If friends or family members would like to use The Gilded Registry, each household must obtain their own licence through a separate purchase. Please see our Terms of Service for full licensing details.
What happens if I lose the file?
If you lose the HTML file, you can re-download it at any time from your Etsy purchase history. Your wedding planning data is stored separately in your browser's localStorage, so re-downloading the file will not erase your data as long as you open it in the same browser on the same device. If you have switched devices or browsers, you can restore your data from a previously exported backup.
